I chose to call it a department instead of a school because it is occasionally referred to that way anyways and because I thought it would be easier to understand, as most people don't know much about how universities are organized until attending one. It’s easier to get the 3.8-4.0 that you will need for DA to your intended major at a CC than at UW. CC also makes very good financial sense and you will thank yourself for the lower student loan balance when you graduate.
